Josiah first sat up on his own at my cousin Gini's house on Dec. 23rd. Oh was he pleased with himself!
Our family Christmas gathering was held at our house this year because Guesly was on-call for the hospital for the weekend. Dad, Mom, Rachel and Laura came up the night before. Mom meant to bring all of our stockings for us to put little gifts for each other in, but accidentally left them behind. My creative sisters instead made us each a unique manilla envelope "stocking".
They worked fine and it made for a memory we won't soon forget.
